Cycle Ride tonight! :-)

If you fancy getting on your bike tonight for a relaxed 5 mile ride, then Hethersett Cycling Club has just organised a ride. Meet at 7pm outside Hethersett library and finishing at the Kings Head. Please wear a helmet.

help, apprenticeship

My 17 year old son is looking for a building trade apprenticeship, he is currently on a full time plumbing course at city college but would consider any building trade apprenticeship. Can anyone help!

Dog attack

Bit of further info Ive come across these dogs before and the mother is especially viscious to other dogs and the puppy is not much friendlier either. She also takes these out to the horse fields and lets them off lead there at the weekends usually ... more »

Thanks for that, it's a shame getting it muzzled can't be enforced, sounds completely irresponsible of the owner. I'll certainly look out for it in the future - and keep both my son and puppy away from it! Sounds like a serious accident waiting to happen ... more »

DOGS

Dog owners please have your dogs on a lead when walking the in a public place including parks and fields. Many times when I walk my dogs, many people let there dogs run free. DONALD BOWTHORPE

oh and by the way our pooch was chased by greyhound who was muzzled and managed to pull his lead from his owner. only days earlier he was chased by a different greyhound whose owners response was dont normally chase dogs that size he is a cockerpoo. if ... more »

It is up to the owner to control their dog, in whatever capacity that is. Most dog owners I've seen that walk with their dog off a lead have them pretty well trained and can call off their dog if its chasing another. To say all dogs should be muzzled in ... more »

Knitted tank top wanted

My husband would like a fairisle type tank top to wear to the Goodwood revival in September. Are there any knitters out there who would like to knit him one, a paid job of course, whatever the going rate. Have looked on line for secondhand. To no avail.

Patio help needed

Does anyone know of someone who will come and lay patio slabs in my garden? I have been given the slabs but feel it beyond my ability to lay them properly! Don't want to spend fortune though willing to pay a handyman.
