Primary Schools in Elm Park

Are there just the Elm Park Primary School and Benhurst in Elm Park now? Does anyone have any knowledge of what these schools are actually like? Their Ofsted reports make me want to move before my daughter has to attend school!

My son goes to Benhurst Primary and is in Year 1. Granted, the latest Ofsted report wasn't the greatest it's ever had, but I'm told that they've changed the way of grading the reports, hence the lower grading (especially at junior levels). The current ... more »

My heart goes out to the family of the young man in Woolwich who was attacked and murdered. I be thinking of his family this evening and all our troops.

it beggars belief that this could happen in our streets in broad daylight, I saw the soldier's family on tv and cried.

We teach crochet.......not on consecutive days........once a week at various libraries .....and elsewhere. They are hands-on workshops.......not it appears appropriate for others to to 'lead an activity'. Sorry we cannot help at this time.

migraine

hi has any body got any experience with migraine I have just been told I get it  zig zag  lines then the pain it was very worrying at first how do you cope with it  . it would  be helpful to talk to some one that gets it

I use to suffer terrible migraines until I had BP check which was found to be high and ever since been on medication have not had a migraine....

Ive  just heard that our M.Ps are going to award themselves a 15% wage increase.I give up!This is a real slap in the face for  the working classes.Is there no end to their arrogance?

I go to Butterflies and agree its a nice relaxed atmosphere and a welcome for all. I hope to go to the first get together lunch on the 4th June .Hopefully we will plan together for other outings in the summer.

Unfortunately, they aren't "regenerating" the bit from Billet Lane traffic lights up to Abbs Cross Lane though.  Shame, as that pavement could really do with some attention.  Will also make the High Street look a bit unfinished.  Still think removing the ... more »
