I may have an offcut but will need to check the size. I won't have time to rummage until Weds but if you can wait until then, I will have a look. Susie

Try James on 07778 467087. We met through friends and like him and find him good. He is in his 30s.

My husband also had your same lifelong dream. I decided last year that enough was enough and it was time. We used our savings to buy him a piano and then I asked around for teachers. All our neighbours suggested the house at the end of the road. From ... more »

It is a great idea. Last year we had one during our Furzedown festival. A lot of residents put their tables in their front gardens, it was great fun and created a strong sense of community.  This year has not been planned for the festival but I am trying ... more »

Brilliant idea - hate the big commercial affairs, so something local and community based would be great! I am in!

Wandsworth council is very quiet on the subject. Does anyone think this vehicle is appropriate?
John
Accounting is as much of an art as a science. I wonder on what basis they come to the £34k. Do they absorb overheads? Is the vehicle fully depreciated? are on costs such as NI and pension in relation to the driver included.?

Training in Powerpoint, Excel etc....

Do you know anyone who can train in powerpoint and excel. I've got a few professional friends who are keen to brush-up/develop these skills that younger people have readily at their finger tips....Any recommendations most appreciated.

Angela Beasant wrote a number of brilliant books on Power point and Excel, and other topics. They are brilliant and written in clear understandable English. The library used to have them, if not, for a few pence ,ex p & p, Amazon have them for sale.

N.B. It is Angela Bessant, not Beasant.

Willow sticks for a living hedge or bean poles? If you wander up the far end of St.Georges Park there is willow but it would probably start growing if you used it straight away.
Miranda S
Thanks Mark. Actually for use as a screen - sorry, I didn't mean living willow.

Find a match of a larger size and cut it to size using a circular ceramic tile cutter. Good luck.
