Hoping to do the Etape Penninnes Cycle Ride in October in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care, wondered if anyone wanted to do it as a group, I have emailed and asked on their page, to see if there would be a reduction in the entry FEE, which is currently £61 each; they are yet to respond.
So in the mean time am hoping to get a group of local cyclists together who want to do the ride. I was involved in Durham Cycling Club and now started a PAGE Deerness Valley Cycling thru which we could use to develop interest in doing the Pennine route.

BTW This event is for SERIOUS cyclists only it is 78 miles and quite grueling with many ascents and descents over the Pennines.
