I would be interested in establishing some friends in the Fulham area.  I am single and have lived in Fulham for 4 yrs (originally from New Zealand).   I have worked in Telecoms and currently reassessing my career path so free most days.  I am free next week if you want to meet for a coffee.

It's great to get some replies, so thanks!  Alison has emailed me via the site & made a good suggestion that we could all meet as a group, if that suits everyone. I'm away in Cornwall until next week but after that, i think this is a great idea. Any thoughts/dates welcome.

Hi, I would love to join you guys too but I work during the day so could only meet up in the evening. if anyone is interested in going for a walk / jog once or twice a week that would be great. Or a glass of wine. I have two little ones that I need to tuck into bed first but can be free from 7/7.30pm. x Narelle

Meeting as a group sounds good to me.  Fulham Palace has a great cafe so is an ideal place to meet in good weather.  Let me know dates, as I have odd days when I am doing things so there is no pattern, and I can tell you if I can make it.

A group meeting sounds good to me as well. I am free most days so whichever day works for everyone will likely be fine.

Have just googled Fulham Palace and it looks lovely :-)
I can't do Tuesdays but otherwise most other days are good for me.
Just as a few suggested dates to float how about either next Wednesday 13th, Thursday 14th, or Friday 15th after all the jubilee celebrations have finished and Karen is back from her holiday?
Am really looking forward to meeting everyone and trying out a new cafe I've not been to before :-)

How about Thursday mid morning - 10.30 (gives us a day to get sorted after the long weekend!) at Fulham Palace.   Post if you can make it, if not suitable for most we can re-schedule.

Am now confused as to which Thursday is meant, as in AJs post, it was the 14th was is a week tomorrow and now it sounds as if it is tomorrow, which I can make.  Clarification please.

I'd struggle to make tomorrow at 10.30 (I have a yoga class in Clapham booked from 9.30 to 10.30 tomorrow morning). Otherwise I could make any of next week (with the exception of tuesday).

Karen, as its your idea it  might be nice of you set the first date and time, I was being impatient too by suggesting dates.

If you decide on tomorrow maybe we could set the time to 11 or 11.30 so I can still come along?

No, please feel free to suggest dates! It's great that so many people are interested in meeting, so from here let's go with the majority & maybe we can arrange a second meeting to suit anyone who can't come. I'm lucky enough to be fairly flexible at the moment. As next Thursday seemed to be the original suggested date, are we good to go with that maybe late morning? Fulham Palace is convenient, i've never actually been to the coffee shop there, so will make a nice change too. I currently have no voice after being unwell so next week would probably be better for me or you may think i am this quiet all the time!

Sorry can't make the 14th, however, the following week is OK except for Wednesday.

14th would definitely be good for me as I am still trying to catch up after the Jubilee weekend, was involved in four days of celebrations with my seven year old neice and my flat looks like a bomb has hit it!!

If we were able to make it an 11.30 meet next Thursday I can definitely make it as I can go to my yoga class in the morning, nip home and get changed, and then whizz across to the cafe. Would that be ok?

Looking forward to meeting people on the first meeting, and others on the second :-)

Shall we make an alternative date in the following week beg. Monday 18th for the people who can't make the 14th?  I can make any date except the Wednesday of that week, what about any others that can't meet on the 14th? Karen as the original poster, what about you and your availability?
