There seems to be a public one on Ritherdon Road, Balham organised by the trader's association - I saw the council advertise it online and they've a facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/RitherdonRoad
Most others tend to be for residents, for boring reasons like they're not insured whereas a 'public event' would be. However if a neighbouring street is partying, I'm sure they'd be very welcoming (especially if you bought cake!).
The council told me they'd be publishing a list of road closures online, 1 week before.
I know of one in SW18, just off Magdalen Road on the Saturday. £15 per adult /children over the age of 10 and £5 per child but you must bring cake or salad as well. Loathe to put the name of the street up in case of gatecrashers. Food and drink only given to those wearing sticker showing proof of payment.
If there are any organisers reading, you can register for FREE BEER! from Carling, provided you registered with The Big Lunch (i.e. got a Starter Pack) and they haven't run out.
Gail, thanks so much for the info re the Carling offer. Your message prompted me to put in a request (already registered with Big Lunch) and now waiting to hear a delivery date. Good luck with your street party!
Moyser Road on Sunday and on Monday there are lots all over Furzedown, have a look on the FCN chat group.
And to help people get ready for the Jubilee, we also have a workshop on Saturday 2nd June at Tooting Tram making flags, rosettes and more. Profits are being donated to St Georges.
More details on the website. It's going to be a fab weekend!
Does anybody know of any street parties going on in any of the streets off of Northcote Road - I've lived in the area for two years but other than my immediate neighbours don't really know that many folks and it would be lovely to get to know more people via a party :-)
Our free Carling delivery has just arrived . Thanks so much again Gail for the tip off as looks like the allocations went very quickly once word got out.
Tomorrow on Broadwater Road between 12 and 5pm. The annual Balham and Tooting Community Association (BATCA) family fun day is on. Look forward to seeing you all. All money raised going towards two local charities St Georges Hospital & Share a family. Mayor of Wandsworth will be there at 3pm and local MP Sadiq Khan will be attending too.

Here's a map of Street Party road closures in Wandsworth from the council website. There's also another pdf that shows them as a list, at http://www.wandsworth.gov.uk/downloads/download/1176/diamond_jubilee_street_parties
