Garden Ponds repairman?

Hi the pump on my pond has packed up and the fish are not at all happy. Anyone know of a good pond maintenance man? SW area? Thanks

Sorry, I don't know of a pond repair man but if you can get some oxygenating plants in it, it will help keep the sludge at bay until you can get the pump fixed. I got mine from Coral Imports in Streatham.

I have never had a pump in my garden pond and it has flourished. Get the right balance of plants etc and it will develop a self-sustaining ecology! (We could learn to do that for our own little pond..) There are lots of books on this or check out the Internet...

Thanks, but I have plants and the pump is needed for the water therapy flow unit (otherwise known as a water feature!) I have water dripping into the pond creating bubbles and the water is clearing, fish are happier but I still need someone cheap and reliable to install a new Havelock 5500 pump and filter. So any recommendations for good contractors most welcome?
