Next daytime Battersea Social Plus drop-in next Tuesday (26th)

Battersea Social Plus is aimed at those approaching retirement or retired who are friendly interesting local people who don't take themselves too seriously. In addition to the drop-ins we also organise theatre trips, meals at local restaurants and other cultural activities.
Our meetings are very relaxed with usually between 8 an 12 local people having a coffee and a chat. Most of us are over 50 but we are not strict on age.

Can't make it this time unfortunately, but my I'm shortly changing my Tai Chi class from a Tuesday to a Wednesday night so I might be able to drop into the occasional evening meet up soon. Alison

The great taxi driver in Marrakesh is called El Kaskasse but everyone knows him as Mr Cous Cous so you can call him that. He drives a big air conditioned Mercedes but he was not expensive. Everyone in town seems to know him and he speak good English.
According to his business card his phone number is 061198129 (could be a mobile) and his address is 131 Derb Hall Souss Berrima, Marrakech. Alas I cannot find his email address as this was about 4 years ago but you may be able to find it via Google. His card says his fax number is (04) 43 79 23 and it says Port (which may be work number) is (01) 19 81 29
Needless to say he could have retired since then but I get the feeling he will be around for a long time. He took us to great restaurants and places to visit and negotiated lower prices at most. he also took us for whole day trips into mountains and to coast often at a price of around £30/£40 for the whole day but that may have changed now.
