Morning Kelly! I've found Streetlife amazing for getting recommendations for local tradespeople. Before it was difficult to find somebody and you never knew how good a job they'd do or how expensive/if they were value for money. I've also been out to dinner and had the food cooked by a really great local chef and new people via Streetlife. Enjoy!
i've organised bridge games, a blood orange syndicate (in the season for blood oranges) and now help organise a freelancers group that kicked off on Streetlife. of course its not perfect - nothing in life is - it does give a good potential springboard for connections locally.
