Yes that's what it does , it cleans the air I got it for the bronchitis .
I am not sure of the model you have but like everything different manufacturers have different specifications and prices.
This particular make cleans 800 sq ft so an average house in London would only need one purifier .
I will check with the manufacturer about the price we have just become the dealer in London , all I can say is that it is the market leader and a very good make indeed .
I will have one in the showroom next week doing its thing ! as I am away at the moment .

There are various 'niffs' it all depends which ones you like. We were told never to use an essential oil to perfume the water and, therefore, the air as it can clog up the 'doings' .. only to ever buy the proper stuff and Amazon is the only place I have seen it in recent years .. apart from a shopping channel on Sky. We always got our 'niffs' from the Ideal Home Show but they had none this year.
All the exhibitions used to have them in various guises .. perhaps you can fill the niche?
BTW - we call them 'niffs' because our old dog used to take a deep breath - and the exhale sounded like he said 'niff'
