Rubbish

Hello

I have lived in East ham for almost 3 years, east London for over 10, and it is turning into a dump! Every street corner has rubbish dumped on it, the dodgy builders turning all the house's into flats put their deliveries/rubbish all over the place, dirty buggers coughing up and spitting on the road it is disgusting out there! Most of the people I knew have left to move further out, Essex ect, and I am sorry to say I think I will join them. The local wildlife are getting more and more vicious and the police seem unable or unwilling to do anything about them, they just sit outside on the walls of the houses around here, smoking weed and drinking beer with their dogs, without doubt from illegal gains. As for the council all they care about is the Olympics and their nice home in Building 1000 beside City airport, and who is going to pay for all of that when September come's? Well us stupid people in Newham, and we never had a hope of getting tickets for the game's in Stratford stadium anyway......

Be safe out there.....

"All in this together", that is rubbish, the rich have never accumulated wealth at such a rapid rate as they do at the moment! it just means that we pay for their.....mistakes! We in Newham are going to get so lumbered with this 2012 thing when its over it could bankrupt the council.....

And as for the spirit of the blitz?, do you really think the creatures that make most of the problems here would still be behaving like this if there was,
A. No nanny state telling them its not their fault, blame the whole world before you blame yourself B---s##t, go out, get a job any job, even if god forbid they get one that pays minimum wage!, and take some responsibility for yourself....
B. Stop this unbelievable benefit system that not only home grown people but those all over the world come here to abuse the s##t out of it!

And I have contacted the council, not their problem-department....ect
Newham recorder, printed some pictures and story's
Police, they arrest these people and the court lets them out, a lad in Romford was convicted of his 247th crime, judge said no point sending you to jail so gave him community service!.....what can I say!

One thing needs to come back to this county, just one thing,

Respect for other people

James C. i'm sorry to hear anyone sounding so down on life in Newham. For someone to be so depressed and beaten-down is a tragedy.

Mehmet, I'm just flummoxed. one minute no one will support you, next minute they're all banging on your door expecting you to do things with them.

ultimately we all want to live in the same kind of Newham, however we're trying to get there. I'll continue working, as a resident of 20 years alongside other residents to make Newham a better place and let's hope one day we see it.

Sorry Susan I did not make it clear. When I meant people are knocking on my door I meant that they are knocking on my door for me alone to sort it out for them I asked them to call it in as well as the more people we get working together the better the response. Even though they knock on my door they expect me to sort things out for them.

Hi everyone, I live in the borough of Redbridge and have set up the website www.residentsassociations.co.uk.  We are planning an event for September and was wondering if any of you belong to residents associations or would like to form one.  We have just set up the Redbridge Residents' Network.  It's early days yet but we would like to see residents taking a more active role in their communities.  It's not easy and there is a lot of apathy but hopefully things will change.  Let me know if you have any ideas how things could develop.  Please pass the information on - Thanks.

I am not down about it, there is nothing I can do about it! I just keep going and try to bring my children up in a loving, caring and respectful manner, not dragged up and left to fend for themselves because I am too busy! Unfortunately this is what happens when children are allowed to have children.

I was living in Plaistow near the fire station a few years ago. When I first moved in it was lovely, people said hello and the road was tidy-ish and quiet, after 7 years it turned into a ghetto! Every time one of the older people died or went into a home the council would put in a family, well normally a mother with 5-6 kids, and over a few years the place went to the dogs! No respect, no discipline and no future. On one of my last nights there was a mass brawl of local drug dealers that had come to the area to meet the needs of the horrible creatures Newham council had dumped on us, and trashed the place, the Police arived on mass within 10 minutes and took them away but the next day they were back. We live in a nice quiet side road in East ham now, but you can see the spread of these people and it wont be long before they make it here as well.
