We are extending our kitchen (side return) and have a tiny garden. We're looking for a small firm or free lance garden designer.

Herve, I'd be interested in knowing who is doing your side-return kitchen extension, if you have been happy with them, as I am thinking of doing the same at some point.

Shelley Hugh-Jones has just done an excellent job for remaking our small patio - commissioning a landscaper to repave it, and buying in the planting.

I second the above, Rosie Nottage's work is very high quality and her designs are great.  Unlike the previous poster, however, I am not her husband, but an independent admirer of her work.

Another vote for Caroline Garland.  She's just done a fantastic job on our garden; great design with her husband and team on hand to do the hard landscaping. We have never looked so smart!
