Streetlife

I am becoming increasingly concerned about the fly tipping occuring on Gatton Road close to the Post Office.  This morning there was a sofa and chair in the road and whole heap of other furniture and rubbish on the pavement.  Previously there has been an old toilet, what appeared to be a large wooden board train.  Surely this should be a recognised problem on the road by now and some action being taken by the council?  Is there anything residents can do?
