Let me know the feedback you get, though I suspect, as you write that not only many will be away, on hols, others will want to profit from SUMMER........ now it's finally showing it's face..... :)

I would love to come along too. I have been hoping to come for a while, but I always seem to miss it or be busy. If you could drop me a line to confirm whether it is all going ahead, I would really appreciate it.

I'm afraid I can't attend. A long standing resident of my road passed away last week and her family have been good enough to invite her old friends to gather at the house prior to the funeral.

Hi Jenny,

Kate and I cannot make it tomorrow but Marianne has offered to host it. Normally we meet at 7pm but some do not arrive until 8pm or later. At the moment I think there are two others going.

Suggest you contact Marianne to see what time she ill be there.

As things stand this moment, only you two are intending to come to tomorrow's BS meeting, other then myself

I feel that unless planned attendence increases by at least a couple more, it might be best not to go ahead with this gathering.

In my view it would be much nicer for you, Jake, to be introduced to our group, when a decent amount of members are present, so you can get a proper idea of the usual goings-on and atmosphere and not get the wrong impression, by attending a very quiet night, as your first introduction.

As Chris already suggested  before, maybe we should now have a Summer break, like last year, as clearly people are away/on holiday or outside taking advantage of the glorious weather.

Let me know your thoughts?

I am happy to make the final decision tomorrow afternoon, but clearly do not fancy ending up at the BM&MH all on my own!

Yes, you're probably right, Marianne, better to have a summer break. Seems a shame to be indoors anyway at the moment - who knows how long the summer will last!

Well, I sure hope you did get my message from yesterday Jake, because I have not heard back from you..........

No-one else has been in touch (here or with me directly) to indicate a desire to join us, and Jenny (S) seems to agree with me, therefore tonight's BS meeting is now officially cancelled.

See you all sometime in September, hopefully.
