I've just come in from a walk along Great Yarmouth promenade with my Son and my dog for a couple of hours. It was nice to see people milling about. We went in Merrivale and he looked at all the old arcade games and he was really laughing. He couldn't believe that people were actually amused by these machines! He's now on his xbox and I'm preparing dinner.....yawn!

I used to dislike Sundays. Being a singlerton,I found there was only so much I could do in the morning, It was Sunday afternoon I hated, You cannot push your selfs on to relatives, as they were doing their own thing. With little money going out was limited, I live in the sticks so any where is expensive to travel to. I now work some Sundays so it is a bit bettet.but I still find they drag
I read a book called flip it. I'm only 25 but it was all about getting the most out of life. Its the best book I have ever read, (Very limited) And as well as other things, ving up crap that does not matter was a suggestion, So i and the girlfriend gave up facebook. Best thing I have ever done. The only reason I joined Street life, is i was hoping to maybe doing some skill swapping.
I find Facebook a great way to meet people. Especially people you would ordinarily never interact with..I have caught up with my oldest friends from school and it serves well in keeping contact with distant relatives....it is definitely the future of social life!
As dee said its not so easy.i am 44 and find it nigh on impossible to go out on my own,not shy by any means but it feels odd doing it...sites like this and fb make it nice and easy...and possibly less intimidating for some At the end of the day tho, what keeps you happy is all good
