Looking for a personal trainer that works with pregnant women

I'm about 22 weeks pregnant and looking for a trainer that can help me keep in shape over the next few months. Does anyone have any recommendations? I live between Clapham Common and Wandsworth Common. Thanks in advance.

Hi Charmain
I may be able to help depending on the times you would like.
I am qualified to train post and pre natal clients and have had lots of experience in this area.
I am also a mum of two and teach Buggyfit on the common. There are a couple of pregnant mums in the class if you wanted to come along?
Or alternatively I am available some evenings and afternoons.
You definitely would want be in shape before the birth . It really does help.

I do antenatal Pilates with Jane Wake and know that she does personal training too. She's brilliant and comes highly recommended by me.

I now have a baby and still use him but I highly recommend Clint. He is a personal trainer and I do sessions on the common and he will happily come to you. 07973 332191 is his mobile, he was also great for post birth and helped me tone up and lose a stone in a month. Best of luck

Elizabeth - please don't make us laugh.  If you're going to pretend to be a third party when you recommend your own business then at least make a bit of effort to disguise yourself.

Do you realise that what you are doing is actually a criminal offence?

KHChiropractic
Hi there,

I know some great personal trainers who I refer to regularly due to their attention to detail and understanding of good form in training. I refer a lot of my patients due to the importance of strengthening/rehabilitation following injury.

Good on you for training during pregnancy with a specifically tailored package you can help stabilise your pelvis and help reduce the chance of back pain. The pelvis is held together by ligaments which become lax due to hormonal changes so it is very important to get your muscles firing correctly to provide the extra support needed.

Sorry to cut in on this thread but  the only way I can think of to get in touch is via an old e-mail. Some four or five days ago I stopped receiving my daily e-mails from Streetlife. At first I thought there was a hitch but now I assume that something has just gone wrong for me. I tried using the website because I assumed that I would be able to communicate by using my password but I can see no way to do so.Help please!

Ricky who are you trying to get in touch with?  If you want support then I'd suggest the support button (bottom right!)

Thank you for replying Mathew. I simply wanted to be back in the loop getting my daily streetlife e-mail and it worked. I don't know if it worked automatically or if some kind person running streetlife did it for me. If the latter, then thank you; I was beginning to get withdrawl symptoms.
