carpet fitters?

My cats have scratched through the carpet on the bottom stairs.
've got some spare carpet - but John Lewis, who fitted it originally won't do such a small job.
Does anyone know an independent carpet-fitter who might be interested?

Just had the cat-damaged stair carpet repaired. Jim came at 8.30 on a Saturday morning - it cost £40 and looks as good as new. Thank you Jez and Ron for your recommendations. Seems to me that this is an excellent use for Streetlife.
