Hi Deaba,

Batersea Social is for friendly local people who do not take themselves too seriously. We have an informal meeting every two weeks where members can drop-in on the way home fro work.

We have a few bevvies and chat and have a bit of a laugh. We get a special members discount on beer and wine (25%) at the trendy Battersea Mess and Music Hall which is a 10 min walk from Claphan Junction or Clapham Commom. Some members network for business but we are mainly social.

Members organise meals out in local restaurants and theatre trips from time to time.

We have a forum on Streetlife which has more information but since they changed the website it can be hard to find but if you search on Battersea Social you should find more information.

To join just email a little info about yourself to Chris at batterseasocial@btinternet.com and he will tell you more and we will look forward to meeting you soon.

Look forward to seeing you all on 19th and catching up on all the news.

I think we have about 10 coming so far - if there are more who are coming please let me know so I can book enough space?

I am sorry Chris, I cannot make it this time. I am catering for about 100 people at the Rotary Club of Battersea Park Quiz night on Thursday and my plate is very full. I hope I can make the next one. When is the next date?

Great seeing you last night and sorry we did not have a chance to chat but Christina and I were trying to sort out the woes of the NHS which dd take some time :-)
