Exterior wall painting

Hi,

The brick wall at the front of my house needs painting. I have never had a job like this done before, so I don't know what is involved and what sort of price I should expect to be quoted. The wall is small - it's about 3 feet high and we have a victorian conversion in SW18 - so hopefully that gives an idea of scale.

Any recommendations of painters or suggestions of vague price range I should expect would be helpful, as I'm a prime candidate for being ripped off here! Thanks, Kevin

Hi Kevin. Search for Martin Moser here on streetlife.
He is the best handyman SW London's!
My house looks new again after he painted it.

I am 'The Family Handyman ' (details on request). Expect to pay anything between £15-£25 per square metre labour cost + paint (£45 for 10l of good masonry paint).  Depends how much preparation is needed (Scraping down / stabilising flaking brick).  Happy to give you a quote but also just happy to advise.

If you decide to do it yourself, I just did ours and have leftover paint! (SW11)
