New parking regs

Just to warn people that there are new extended parking regs in Wroughton Road SW11.  This used to be a one hour restriction road between 10.30 to 11.30.

.....and be careful in Wandsworth Sainsbury car park.  EuroCarParks are penalising with gay abandon if you overtstay your welcome.
Irksome
EuroCarParks tickets are non-enforceable fines.  There is plenty of references explaining why you can simply ignore demands for payment as there is no contract in force.
Jackie H
dear Irksome, can you  enlarge on this 'no contract' thing as I am trying to involve Sainsbury in my appeal with Euro about  my PCN ? any help gratefully received.
Irksome
Dear Jackie H,

Unfortunately you've already failed on the first words of advice, which are to ignore them completely - don't enter into the conversation as they won't listen to you and all you may end up doing is providing them inadvertently with the evidence they might need were they to pursue the matter.

I recommend reading the following thread, and ask a question there if you still need advice - there are many there far more expert than I.

thanks so much, it's a steep learning curve.

Dear Irksome, just for the record, Sainsbury at Wandsworth say they DO have a contract with EuroCarParks.  And Lo! they are being tremendous help in doing battle with the wretched Euro for me.
Irksome
I think you've missed the whole point there Jackie H - doesn't matter if they have a contract, only the landowner can pursue you (not their agent), and then the only damages they are entitled to are those damages they can prove (how much does it cost to pay and display - thats what they can pursue you for).  The Parking Charge Notice or whatever EuroCarParks call the pointless piece of paper they gave you is completely unenforceable.

It sounds like you are engaging with them, in which case you've ignored the advice given by the site I linked to above, which is to ignore all communications from PPC's.
