Proposed Flats At The Professional Centre, Franciscan Road

There is a huge development proposed at the Professional Centre, Franciscan Road.  It allows for 45 flats on four floors on the existing car park.  Problems will be blocked light for residents on Vant and Totterdown, no Saturday car park, decrease in privacy for Vant Road and Totterdown residents, huge increased parking and no playground for the proposed new school.  I think this should be opposed...

Thanks for bringing this up again Brian - if anyone would like to object on the above grounds or any others we have until tomorrow to do so. The planning application number is 2012/3870 and you need to email: admin@franciscan.wandsworth.sch.uk and also cc ahussain@wandsworth.gov.uk (Adam Hussain). Please include your address if you do so otherwise your objection won't be counted - any help is much appreciated! The council planning website state they will also take into consideration relevant late comments too so don't be put off by the closing date!

I've just put my objection in and have posted the info on twitter so hopefully there will be a few more objections. Fingers crossed they put a stop to this silly idea!

Hey everybody, if you disagree with this development please object to Wandsworth Council as above.  So far we have 70 objections and we need to get at least 500 if we are to show a sizable opposition!  Use the Council's quick comment facility to comment or email in and they will scan your comments onto the application.  You can also read other objections before doing so if you need to see what other Citizens of Tooting are saying.

If you look at the plans you will have no hesitation in objecting, I'm sure... We only have a few more days....
