Conveyancing Solicitors

Can any of the good folk who have recently moved house recommend a local conveyancing firm that is reasonably priced and efficient. I have had so many calls with solicitors offering their services, some even promising me a saving of 50% stamp duty! I would rather have a direct recommendation though Any help aprreciated

BarbaraCox of Alen-Buckley on 1 Bellevue Road London SW17 7EG - 020 8767 8336. Nice, sensible and not a flash in the pan. This is something you need done RIGHT rather than as cheaply as possible! If you need a Surveyor I can make a suggestion there too. Simon

We just completed on a flat and used Pauline Riley at Terence St John Millett in S.Ken. It all went very well, she was thorough and helpful and charged exactly what she said she would.
I had another recommendation for a firm in battersea I can look up if needed. Good luck.
