Mailchimp is driving me MAD and does anyone know a good designer?

I have just spent the last HOUR trying to set up a contact list in Mailchimp and import my contacts. Does anyone have any advice on how to do this? I am almost tempted to offer £20 along with a coffee and chocolate biscuit to anyone who could pop round and LOAD MY LIST UP.  Life is too short for this faffing surely?  Perhaps I'll just calm down and wait for any advice first.

Also, does anyone know a good local designer and printer?  I need some branding sorted out for my business and a rate card printed up.

Thanks Streetlifers xx

Hi Lisa,
I would be happy to help you.

I am an IT Support engineer who deals with these sort of queries.

I have attached a link which might give you a head start if you would like to try.

Hi Lisa G ,Mailchimp has some pretty useful tutorials if you search in their help - as well as the link from Sir Lurchalot above :)
If you need a hand with configuring Mailchimp, it's something I've helped my website clients with before...
Trust the business is going well - hope to see you at a networking event again sometime :)

Sir Lurchalot - thanks for this link that has helped me - I have no patience with IT problems unfortunatley. I will call you anyway as I need help installing wise stamp.

Thanks all for these designer suggestions - will be contacting them.

Tracey I saw Caroline Ewans at a networking thing this AM and she has suggested I come so see you soon!  Will put it in  my diary
Super Sally
I too cannot recommend Kate highly enough. She has done some fantastic posters & other communications including logos. She is quick & has worked within my budget. Give her a call.

I'm sure you have found someone by now, but for what it's worth. I'm a local graphic designer too. Work from home in Tooting. Happy to  help with any work. My website with examples of work is www.zuluspice.com and you can call me on my mobile 07771701942

If you struggle try Mad Mimi instead of mail chimp.  It's still free for the first amount of contacts (not sure of the number off hand) but it is so easy.  To import contacts for example you simply press the 'add contacts' button.

Hi Lisa
I integrate mailchimp into websites that I design and build and regularly use mailshit for e-mail shots.
Sounds like you are sorted now but should you want your list linked to a website maybe I can be of help.

Best wishes

Hi  Lisa - am sure you've figured it out by now but I use Mailchimp for my own business and would be happy to help you if I can (I'm just an ordinary user, not an IT expert or anything.)
Lisa G
Ken R, I thin mailshit is a very good description actually!  Think I've sorted it now, tedious but hopefully I'll be whizzing out high quality, useful and amusing mailshots from here on in.

If any streetlifers are interested in fashion/style, offers on my personal styling services and pop-up designer sales - signup!  Am I allowed to say that on here?
