Whittlesey Supermarket / Cabinet Clear Out

Just read on Cambs Times website that Martin Curtis has been sacked from FDC's planning Committee - apparently due to "the impression given to the Community". What impression? That he was willing to listen to what people in Whittlesey wanted (i.e. Sainsbury's NOT Tesco - as evidenced at the meeting in August).

Amazing to think that you can be sacked for doing your job!!

next tuesday we have an open forum for the supermarkets, i urge everybody from whittlesey to go and speak up to what you want.
i also urge you to right to whittlesey town council planning commitee and fenland planning commitee and say what supermarket you want, your town, your voice, you decide not a planning commitee from march us the people of our town
