Hello, i am looking to join a keep fit class during the day, i would prefer keep fit to music or legs, bums, and tums as not fit enough for a full on aerobics class. Does anyone know of any local classes?
Try the Fitness Unit in Felixstowe Road. They do lunchtime classes suitable for all levels of fitness and are really friendly. I've recently started doing their legs, tums and bums classes after years of doing nothing and it's easy to work at your own pace without feeling like a wimp! If you're worried about whether you'll cope they do a week's free trial.
I am a freelance personal trainer on bixley farm - I offer a mobile service where I come to you and do various exercise classes - min 2 people £5 per person (bixley farm and broke hall estate, elsewhere minimum of 3 people), at your home or local open space.
Carol R, Why not take up dance?.. great fun, you meet other like minded people, Various ages! from 20 - 65. If your free on a Tuesday evening go to Hospital Social Club, (Its up behind the Old St Clements Hospital Foxhall Rd, just follow road around to the righ tpast the playing field, & golf club etc ) There is also Thursday evening at a different venue. and try Ceroc....Starts 7.30- 10.30, You can try one evening if you like then Join, if not then you don't. You will learn THREE steps. And that's all you need to enjoy your first Ceroc.
Thank you Karen B i live in Rushmere St Andrew so would i need to have 3 people? also what type of exercise would it be aerobic or problem areas like legs,bums & tums.
Thank you Dozey M...i had thought about dance but i have 2 left feet, when i tried line dancing a few years ago i got in such a muddle...although i did have a good laugh about it.
Carol R, Anyone can dance, and it's nothing like as complicated as Line Dance. Lots of friendly people to help you once you learn the first three steps, beginners lesson every Tuesday at 7.30, then staff to help you. Go for it Carol, you will enjoy yourself, and it wont seem like exercises.
