Streetlife

Does anyone know if there is a flood contingency plan in place for the Honiton area?  I guess the people who would know would be the fire brigade as they would be the first called out.  As there are a few low lying properties around I do wonder how they faired and if there was somewhere they could go in the event of being flooded out.
