When a local masseur is found shot dead in his bedroom, the local Oxmarket police force turn to Private Detective John Handful. What ensues is a perplexing short story in which he discovers within the tight knit community of the cul-de-sac where the victim resided, that each household that John Handful questions have a secret that could point to them being the murderer.

Nice to have an author in our midst! I see you used to be at Smithfields, did you know any of the Thompsons. They went into the timber trade to make more money, and that's where I worked for them. Bought the kindle edition of your book bye the way... Looking forward to reading it !

Yes Terry J I knew the Thompsons. I used to work in St John Street in an old bacon warehouse which is now a top class restaurant.

I am keeping a note of this as I am expecting Santa to bring me some sort of Kindle! I have also posted it to my face book as I belong to a writers group called Write Now that meets at woolpit.

Thanks Sharon C. I hope Santa grants your wishes and you are able to download my stories. They are also available in paperback form as well. What night do you meet at Woolpit? The trouble I have is I have to work shifts at the moment and would not be able to attend on a regular basis.

Hi there Andrew the writer's group is
writenowgroup.co.uk. If you want to go they are very understanding about people not turning up every time.I myself am involved with the local historical society so have to miss every other one at certain times of the year. The first time you go is free then it is £10 a year plus £2 a meeting. It comes with a nice glass of wine to numb the nerves if, like me ones writing gets torn to pieces. However it is all done in a friendly way and sometimes I take their advice and sometimes I don't! We do a group anthology sometimes. Sharon.Oh yes I could not wait to get my kindle to read the books so I down loaded the app onto my PC and down loaded the whole series. Hopefully I will be able to transfer them onto the reader in due course!
