EADT 6.12.12 Mayor Anne Whybrow in support of retaining Chilton Fields green space. I attended the Rugby Club exhibition and came away with the following concerns. I was assured sports facilities would have to be relocated,(a sport England requirement), when I asked where the reply was 'somewhere'. Not good enough, we need to know specific detail. My other concern is that Wimpey own the Chilton Leys land, but all the facilities to support this estate have to be crammed on Chilton Fields. Surely Wimpey in support of their planning applications must be required to provide some of their land for support facilities. This would ease the pressure on Chilton Fields.
