Road works

Can anyone tell me what is the purpose of the roadworks at the junction of Navigation Approach, Milton Road and Gipping Way? They seem to have been there for weeks, sometimes only one man working, and causing more problems than they are curing. Surely whatever they are doing should have been done when the bridge was built?

Planned to finish on 21/12.
There's a great website at roadworks.org that sometimes tells you what's gong on. http://www.roadworks.org/ Suggest you contact SCC and ask them what they're playing at. Keep them on their toes!

That's an interesting website. It's a pitty that they dont put a reason for each set of roadworks. I don't mean a full explanation but something like 'gas main repair' would help.
