noise move slighty out of town Tweet Comments Showing 3 of 3 Richard B 4 months, 3 weeks ago A random yet somehow poignant and elegant remark. noisemove slightly out of townIt almost qualifies as haiku. Dave C 4 months, 3 weeks ago This really is fantastic and so true..As a motorsport fan i find it infuriting when someone moved close to the race track and then somehow managaged to get a noise abatement order on it, a commercialy successful racing venue was suddenly strangled because of some selfish git that thinks motorsport should be silent... Pamperboy C 4 months, 3 weeks ago This reminds me of a couple of similar incidents, 1st someone moved next to a church and then complained about the bells ringing on a Sunday morning, 2nd the person who moved into a newly built house next to a Blacksmith workshop that had been there since year dot and then complained about the hammering noise. The poor Blacksmith had 2 choices, either close down after a few hundred years of trading, or spend thousands of pounds sound proofing and also reducing his hours of work. We do live in a strange society. Comments are closed. Why not start a new conversation?
