Phew!!

Well---here we are into the New Year!   Glad that's out of the way,  now I can get back to some banal normality.  Seriously though, the holiday period  was a nice break from the routine, but it does drag on a bit. Now I need to focus on some weight loss.  I got another dog since my last one died of a stroke.  I call him Dooby  (Do behave) 'cause he's a bit naughty, but a great laugh.  I take him for long walks trying to burn off the ugly fat ( from the neck up?)    I walked him into the town centre and noticed our stage for "the performing arts" is nearly finished.  I can't wait to do my sand dance act.  I hope the congregating crowd supping out of their brown paper bags will give me room.  Mustn't be sarcastic.  It is a New Year--- chocked full of optimism!   I'm sure such a facility will be highly sought-after by the general public.  What planet is he on!  I hear you say.  Never mind.  Here is wishing all participants on this local platform a prosperous, and most of all, a healthy New Year.

Watch "The Hairy Bikers" this week on BBC2 7:00 pm. They're showing low calorie meal recipies, and they seem really tasty., and not too expensive to make. If you miss the prog. you can get the recipies from www.bbc.co.uk/hairydieters.

The Hairy Bikers are brill.  We saw them live last year in Ipswich and going again this year.  Si and Dave are so comical.  Will be intrigued to see how much weight they have lost.
