Sidmouth Dog Groomers

I have a nine month old springer spaniel who loves to wriggle around. we tried to groom him the other day as he is getting very wild looking and has developed dreadlocks under his ears seemingly over night?! we have groomed our own pets before but the pest wont keep still not even when he is tired he keeps trying to chew the scissors... does anyone know any good groomers in the area and how much they charge?

Thanks :)

My friend's old rough collie caught a fungal paw infection at a groomer's, very sore; she had to have treatment on it until her death, poor thing.
I recommend grooming your dog yourself; if behaviour is an issue then put some training practice into action, it's never a waste of time.

i am sorry to hear about your friend's collie, but fungal infections can be picked up anywhere where there are other dogs around... i think its a little unfair to then boycott groomers. we are perfectly capable of grooming and training, and actually for his age he is extremely obedient and well behaved he is just too curious for his own good.

Gail at Sidvale Grooming services is brilliant and she owns a Springer and a sprocker so shes an expert on energetic wriggly types.

Her number is 01395 519770

Just wanted to mention - I am David H's partner. Our puppy Archie went to Gail on Monday and we couldn't be more pleased! What a lovely woman. Would definitely recommend her to anyone. Thanks for the tip! She finished 20 minutes early and so charged us £5 less. She did an absolute brilliant job, he looks wonderful. Plus, she was absolutely brilliant with him - his first time away from us whilst out somewhere new. When we came back to collect him, he was giving her a lot of kisses. :-) Made quite an impression! Will definitely go back!

Erm, Mrs Seagull...  Why don't you kiss him yourself, may I ask?  ;)
