I saw this film last night & for all of you who like musicals please go & see this. It is a fantastic fim with some wonderfull performances. It left me in tears on several occasions!
"Quartet" is good too. But Ilford CineWorld is playing its old trick of advertising performances, then pulling them. I advise you to call before setting off from home.
In this case it was three lady pensioners, one disabled, who planned an outing, paid for parking, and then were disappointed to find the advertised showing of "Quartet" was cancelled.
Oh David, that's an unfair comment. It's no different to someone laughing when they see a film or hear a joke. If people want to have a cry or a laugh at a film, why not, it shows the skill of the actors and director.
