Streetlife

I've two scotties and a westie and we like company - the two girls like to chase a ball - I've no idea if we would grumble if we had company.  Recently we went away for Christmas and we were all very well behaved and there were five of us, two mongrals and us three.  So it might be very possible to have a great time on the beach together.  Misty, Millie and Bobby.

I would've loved to join you if we had a dog or two. I know we want to have a dog in future so maybe then...! :) Have fun those who do go along!

I was totally disgusted at the amount of dog poo today on the beach from Gorleston to Hopton. There are bins to dispose of it if you could just take the time. Shame on those dog owners!

Jane I agree it is disgusting and everyone I know who has dogs has poly bags in every coat's pockets ready to pick up. It is also disgusting the trash left from people on the beach. Walking from the Pier Hotel I was shocked today to see some kind of pollution in the sea. It was a thick, white foam that I thought initially was snow.
Jabber and Sheila if you would like to come and walk with me my mobile is 07717 222215. We had better leave balls at home though as one of my spaniels is obsessed with his ball and would not be happy if another dog went after it. We could have a drink either half-way or at the end.

I don't take newspapers - enlighten me please.

Hi Joany R, our local seas are actually very clean. The foam you have seen is caused by rough seas whipping the water up, like when they put a little electric whisk in a cappuccino to froth up the milk. Very often you can walk along the beaches here and the water is gin clear, and the sea is teeming with life.

There are lots of fish and that is for sure. You only have to look at what the fishermen are catching.

Thanks for the lovely walk this morning! ^_^ So glad the sun came out after all that horrid rain last night!
