Hi, no have not seen Les Mis but am booked upo to see it this week - went and saw Quartet last week, thought that was goos also.

Going to see it today. Will let you know what I think.

I thought les mis was amazing, Anne Hathaway was wonderful, she brought tears to my eyes!!!

Well, it certainly is not a feel good movie. I found the spoken song dialogue off putting and some of the singing rather poor. On the plus side the acting was excellent and the actual musical score very good.  I never think stage shows transfer well to the big screen but I have not seen the West End Show, so I may be wrong.

I don't think anyone will be disappointed when they see it.

Going to see it at Lowestoft marina in about a weeks time . See the show at Theatre Royal Norwich so hope its as good as that was .

I have heard others say that they didn't think some of the singing was that good. I thought the acting was so good it didn't always matter if the singing was a bit off. I didn't think the singing in Mama Mia was that good at times but I thoroughly enjoyed the film.Having said that Meryl Streep was a bit over the top at times I thought.

I thought Les Mis was very moving but I didn't get tearful as I did when I saw War Horse where I sniffed all the way through!

I only go to the cinema if I think it is something special.

When you get spontaneous clapping a the end of a film it must be good . and lots of crying .

Yes enjoyed  the Theatre and Cinema Les Miserables. Yes  the Theatre the singing was better .But being up close to the faces  and the action  at the barricade .The Cinema have it on special affect  .Both good .

Loved it - very powerful - am going to see it again

I think it was one of the best films I have ever seen. I haven't seen the stage version but we bought the DVD and really enjoyed that. I could quite easily see it again.
