Karate class

Would anybody be interested in going or sending there children to a Karate club if we set one up at the college.  Our association is a part of the English Karate Federation and my Chief Instructor is the current british and english champion.  She is also the Current World Police and fire champion.

The style of karate we do is called wado-ryu it is one of the most practised karate's in the world.  We also teach the sport side of Karate for anyone interested in doing competition.  As we have some of the best fighters in england that belong to our Association. I am trying to get my little girls to come along but I think they prefer to  dance to one direction..

My kids went to Karate i then became interested and took it up seems like everyone did when( KARATE KID CAME OUT ) Provided it is taught responsibly MOST clubs do it gives children confidence and discipline   WADO-RYU very relaxed stances so not likely to damage young tendons etc Or oldies i would recomend it

Wado Ryu Karate (Way of Peace) was founded by professor Hironori Ohtsuka, who for many years studied the finer points of Jui-Jitsu and combined them with Okinawan Karate. This technique is the the fastest and most modern style of Karate concentrating on maximum effort for the least use of power - no energy is wasted.
Because Wado Ryu do Karate does not put any emphasis on physical force, this style of Karate may also be effectively learned by children and older people.

I was thinking of Barking and dagenham college in Rush Green.  But I will look into the ardleigh green college as well.  I want to get a couple of clubs up and running with in the next couple of years.  We are trying to get Karate in to the 2020 olympics so I would like to get a couple of people into the squad by then.
