Streetlife

There was a meeting recently at the Town Council, in attendance were representatives from English Heritage, Town Council, County Council, District Council.  The Agenda:

1. View the issues
2. suitable path treatments
3. gaining permissions
4. funding

This was with regard to improving the paths, used by many  through the wood.
It will be interesting to see how long it will take to resolve this issue, --- that is, if a positive conclusion was reached.   

That  money spent on the clock would have been very welcome.  Its'a shame there are so many fragmented budgets. and  (presumably) never the twain shall meet,  yet our road taxes which total  £40 billion  are spent in a variety of other directions.  The state of our roads is self evident but that's another gripe.
