St Magarets Church

I am not sure if the people on this forum knows, but has anybody been to the Rectory Church Tea Room next to St Margarets Church? It has a lovely atmosphere, they have a decent selection of food, from toasted sandwiches,to ham or egg salads, tea cakes, toast, jacket potatoes, beans on toast, soup etc. What I like about the rectory is that its nice and quiet very clean, and the people there and staff are very friendly, plus it gives me the sense and feeling of not being in Barking. You can take your paper in,or read a book as you are never rushed.I quite often nip into the Church and look around. If some of you have never been there,I think that you will be surprised. Its open 3 days a week, between 10pm and 2 pm..Tuesdays,wednesdays and thursdays.

No objections to Police popping in for a brew then, I presume it is reasonably priced

I have not been as parking is pretty grim but my bro-in-law does go and he is full of praise for the tea room  and friendly staff.
