Raising money for good causes!
Hi, does anyone know of any good causes in the area that would benefit from help with fundraising? I am a manager for Fonehouse in Bradwell and we are looking to work with lots of local people to give something back to the local community.
So far we are working with Tia's Treasures, Frankii-Prestons Journey, Willow's Journey, Centre 81 and Waveney Sailability. If you know of any other good causes that could benefit from help please let me know!
Thanks

I work for a charity 'Ormiston Children and Families Trust', we are regional, however, we are a small team here in Great Yarmouth. Our website is www.ormiston.org. we do some fab work with children and families here at GY and work hard to support who ever we can in whatever way we can.
also my role is to support people back into work, so if you have any work opprotunities - paid or voluntary, or know of any vacancies anywhere...please let me know!

Please come and talk to me about the work you do. I'm sure there is a great opportunity for us to work together.

Not sure if you meant the post for me (Sally at Fonehouse) or Keith (Photographer) - but I am looking for prizes for an event Tia's Treasures is holding in May. If you know anyone who could donate a raffle prize that would be brilliant.
Similarly if you know anyone who would like fundraising help please pop in and see me! Let me know when your mobile phone contract is up for an upgrade and I will donate money to Willow's Journey when we do it for you.
Thanks
Sally

We are a registered charity called Willow Tree Garden which is a project for adults with special needs. We have 0.5 acres of land in a secluded and beautiful spot in Belton (I drive past your shop every day!!) We have established the land with an warm outside classroom where adults can come and do some gardening, craft projects, woodwork, cooking, exercise, discuss healthy eating etc etc. The activities will be led by the learners so more and more ideas will develop. When post 21 year olds leave college there are limited places for them to go so many end up in coffee shops. The garden will give the learners and their carers a constructive place to come to and help to develop.
We are opening at the beginning of March having spent the last three years building the project. We would welcome any help you could give us and will pop into the shop with photos if you want to have more of an idea of what we are doing.
Thanks again for offering
I would love to help you too. Feel free to pop in and I will show you what we offer and hopefully help to raise lots of money for you.
I look forward to meeting you very soon.

My Name is Jade and i'm part of MESH Youth Group.
We run a Youth Group for children aged 6-12 on a Thursday night in the Gorleston Area.
It took us a while to get set up, but now our Youth Group is very successful and we have lots of children attend (and a waiting list!)
We ask for 50p subs and run a tuck shop all of the money which goes back into the club to replenish supplies, tuck and help pay for the room!
Unfortunately, it has come to the end of the financial year and our grant is over and we do not have another in place. In August last year, I shaved all my hair off and raised some money to help keep the Youth Group going (But as my hair hasn't grown back yet! I cannot do this again!!)
Any fundraising/help you could give us, would be EXTREMELY appreciated.
Jade :)
Just let me know when you need it for etc. My pleasure.
Tina
