It's worth contacting the food bank. They were extremely grateful for some old furniture from me a couple of years ago. The collected and it went to a woman with 3 children who had just been rehoused without a stick of furniture.

Knitted items for charity

One thing that I notice is that visitors to our house if they park on the path I ask them if they live in a narrow road 9 out of ten say yes. I then point out that our road is not that narrow but they usually say well I do it all the time anyway !!
