Should be a great show - so hurry to book your tickets.

A variety show for all the family featuring Legends and Heroes of stage and screen will bring laughter and feet tapping to Aldborough Hatch in February.

Following the success of Christmas Cheer, the concert of songs, carols and readings held in the church in December, St Peter’s will host two performances in the church halls of the Ilford Operatic and Dramatic Society’s variety show Legends and Heroes.

There are musical numbers from shows such as Les Miserables, Chicago and Chess, dance routines and much more.

Comedy numbers will recognise the likes of Morecambe & Wise, Victoria Wood and The Two Ronnies.  It is even rumoured that “Mr Pastry” will make an appearance!

Members of the Ilford Operatic and Dramatic Society come fresh from their sell-out success and much-acclaimed run of Fiddler on the Roof at the Kenneth More Theatre. They are well-known to theatre-goers in Redbridge and highly regarded for the professionalism of their productions.

The show is on Saturday 9th February with a matinee starting at 3pm and an evening performance at 7.30pm.

St. Peter’s Church Halls are in Aldborough Road North – Post Code IG2 7QN.

Tickets are £7 including refreshments and may be obtained from Yvonne Jeffries (0208 599 7250) and Martyn Stewart (01277 821790).
