Yeah I know great news but they call it chadwell heath but its nowhere near it that's the other side of the hill
Gemma B
is it gonna be 24 hour
BarryVP
I don't think so if I remember correctly but I might be wrong, it's going to be a full one though, even having the George range and stuff.

I guess it can't be called Asda Dagenhan because that's name of the store near the A13 in Dagenham. Perhaps Whalebone would have been apt.

I think ASDA Fiddlers would be good enough and close enough to the old Fiddlers, but then I might be sued by Asda if they thought I meant it in another way (which I do not). Also I was told 2 days ago that the store is already open ?

I should never believe in chinese whispers, 10am on the 28th of October, you are right..not long, and yes its called Asda Chadwell Heath ;)

Whoever told you that Quassy was confused lol one of my brothers has been helping setting up the store (Ben if you see him not much older than me)
Annabel E
was  wondering when it opened as be handy for me as i hate the romford asda car park, this  new one much easier, will take a trip down there on the 28th
Ian W
Surely             "   Asda Becontree Heath  "      would have been more appropriate

I like Asda, Fiddlers..
Ian W
Because the Fiddles ain't there anymore I bet a lot of the younger ones won't know what it was

All the Heath's have gone as well, but its still named after the Chadwell one.
Its lucky they built the flats on the old Nanny Goats Common that used to be beside the Three Travellers, or they might have plonked the Asda there. It would then have been called Asda Nanny Goats. But I think even the youngsters know the Fiddlers 'area', even without the old Boozer people know the place by the name. And I will admit even though it was my suggestion 'ASDA FIDDLERS' does have a nice roll off the Tongue ring to it :)

Maybe in its early stages it should be taken to a vote, a bit like the old Matapan Public House. Maybe the paper could get involved ? that was eventually voted to be called 'The Beacon Tree' by us ..the good old local yocal Joe Public ;)

Barry VP: I think we should call him Big Ben ...hehe :D
BarryVP
Quassy that was his nickname when we were young (read younger), well..I say that it was probably only me who said it lol if you call out Big Ben he'll probably turn around lol he doesn't mind nicknames, although I forget if he is on Grocery, I think so.
Suzie H
I don't mind ' Asda Chadwell Heath ' - I am just looking forward to shopping there and hope they give Tesco's at Goodmayes a run for their money as Tesco prices have got too ridiculous. Perfection would be a large Iceland store at the Morrisons site by the Leisure Centre and I'd be happy !
Dee S
too far for me to bother Asda Daggers is nearer plus there is an Aldi nearby.
What I hate about the location of Asda Chadwell Heath is trying to turn right when you leave.

I hope you are not joking, I don't want to leave there with a Black eye as well as a few slices of Black Pudding :/
Quassy :)

Suzie H: Your right, its only a name. And whether a Heath a lane or a Fiddlers, it will still be a nice brand new Asda, and not an old B&Q still rotting away for many more years.
Also more local Jobs, and no longer a temporary car park for the Travellers and their Rubbish. Well done to the all the people who worked so hard to make it look like it does now, it was looking like a knackered old Aviary before.

I already say the' fiddlers Asda 'when I am talking to anyone, that's what I will call it. Chadwell Heath sounds wrong. Sainsbury's  is chadwell  heath.
Annabel E
no where near  chadwel lheath,  opens Monday  28th everyone, should call in asda  fiddlers for sure, but i will be going there tuesday  as ilike the car park, romford one is a nightmare
BarryVP
Haha Quassy!! :) I am indeed serious, once you see him you'll believe it, he's 24 and he is tall so he is more than used to the nickname and he's pretty laid back and relaxed so no black eyes :P

Wooo Hooooo I have people who agree with me, thanks diane and Annabel, it does as I said before have a nice ring to it. (And I hate arguing with women, so you will see me change like the weather here ... hehe... I will always call it Asda Fiddlers myself. ;)
