Volunteer needed to help a local champion

Nat Bocking in Blythburgh

I am trying to assist someone whose sight is rapidly deteriorating and they are struggling these days to manage with written correspondence, yet they are otherwise still full of energy and ability to be Southwold and Reydon's public transport champion, something they do with wide support and appreciation.

Is there any person who would like to give their time for couple of hours at monthly meetings (various locations between Southwold, Halesworth, Beccles & Bungay) to support them with correspondence. They don't have to be interested in public transport but if they were resourceful enough to manage emails and correspondence on their behalf and be able to read it to them on the phone and take dictation for replies, it would be a great benefit to them and everyone they work so selflessly for. This might be ideal for young unemployed person.

For obvious reasons I will handle the correspondence and I have a duty of care to run a CRB check (it won't cost you anything). If you might be interested please get in touch.
