An elephant on the doorstep ... a public story-telling

The story of the elephant whose remains were found on the Norfolk coast will be the subject of a PUBLIC TALK to which all are welcome, through Martham Local History Group this month. This is about the famous discovery of the WEST RUNTON ELEPHANT.

Professor Tony Stuart is the visiting speaker and it promises to be a very enjoyable event as usual. Do book your seat in advance as these talks are often very popular.

It is only £3 a ticket or £1 for under-16s and INCLUDES TEA, COFFEE and BISCUITS - a bargain for an interesting and pleasant evening's entertainment!

Tickets available from Chapman's Butcher on Martham Green, and from 01493 749775.
