Coffee

Hi, on Thursday my husband bakes someting delicious to serve with coffee or tea for anyone who fancies it, not in aid of anything except trying to re establish a community feeling. Everyone welcome. (Please be aware that we do have a bouncy little spaniel cross, a cat and little chap of two with Downs syndrome.)

This is such a lovely idea.  I would very much like to come, but it may depend on what time your excellent husband is serving!!  Could you let me know and I'll get back to you.

That sounds a lovely idea! I agree with Hayley about the forces, we were always popping in and out for coffee and a chat.

Hey guys I think we've frightened Bianca off now with our enthusiasm! She probably didn't expect such a lot of replies! But i am still waiting with bated breath for the details, such a great idea! xxxx

If theres this much interest why not set up a coffee club ? We could meet in Weston & try different coffee shops
Liz J
What a great idea, how to start off?  it looks Bianca like the numbers have grown - and grown!   maybe if we start off by meeting up en masse in town to gage the response and need - we could move forward from there, with possibly folk local to Bianca or anyone else who would like to host, getting together or alternatively just to continue meeting in town or garden centres etc etc.
What about a poll of days suitable for everyone  first?
Linda R
I am up for it. I am free most day's .May be we could all meet up at the Winter Gardens coffee shop that is central to most people , and all wear something that can identifie us to each other. Last thing we want to do is go and ask complete strangers if they are from street life . I think we would get some strange answers .

Tuesday or Thursday fine for me, 11am is ok for coffee, happy to join in whatever is agreed. have grown-up children, 2 grandchildren and we always had family pets.
in view of growing numbers, perhaps you could invite 1 or 2 people on different weeks just to get to know them? or venue such as Winter Gardens for a group, but this sounds an awful lot of work for you Bianca! (?)
Patricia L
Tuesday would be fine - but I would have to leave by 1.00 pm.
