Looks like really interesting feedback - how do we go about getting the same sort of thing done for Hampstead?
Stuart B
Clear, concise, actionable feedback...very helpful.

Is the data robust enough to prioritise/quantify ?

Hi Alistair - we leafleted all the households in Highgate - partly via affiliated residents' organisations and partly by house to house slog! We also asked our other affiliated organisations to encourage their members to log on to our website -  http://www.highgateneighbourhoodforum.org.uk and fill in the questionnaire. It took all summer really but the walking around delivering taught us a lot about our neighbourhood. We learnt more via a Placecheck exercise this autumn - more about this on the website. Good luck in Hampstead!

Hi Maggy - thanks for this! I've just looked at your web-site and the process which you've been through - very impressive - I hope the January meeting goes well. Do you happen to know if anyone is looking at anything similar in Hampstead? Best wishes.
Samantha G
Jessica Learmond-Criqui has been doing something similar in Hampstead
Alistair
That's great - do you know if she's on streetlife?
Maggy M
I know the Hampstead and Heath Society are thinking of setting up a neighbourhood forum -http://www.heathandhampstead.org.uk - might be worth contacting them to see what their plans are.
Alistair
Thanks Maggy M - I'll drop them a line

Really impressive survey and website. Did you have any funding for the website and leaflets?
Hope this is a real vehicle for change not just a sop to make locals feel they have some say - planning laws for example.rIn Archway we have been through a lot of consultations but I'm not sure if they have achieved anything.
Maggy M
Website is hosted by one of our members and so free. Small cost of printing leaflet funded by local business - we wrote copy and designed it ourselves. Only a part of the consultation work we are doing and, yes, should in the end lead to a change in the balance of power locally as everything will feed into our Neighbourhood Plan, which will form Highgate's part of Haringey and Camden's Local Plans. A great deal of hard work to get there, though. I know the Better Archway Forum is also hoping to go down this route and that they need local people to help. Why don't you contact them, Dorothy?

Thanks, Maggie. I'm already a member of BAF (posted details of the group on here just the other day) and have just emailed Kate to see what we can do in a similar vein.

Hi Alistair
i don't think Jessica's on streetlife but if you google her you'll get all her details - she's very high profile in Hamstead
