Dare I even start on this.  Trapped in Norwich for two nights because the city was gridlocked, and it took me one hour and a half to get home this morning at 25 miles per hour.  The roads may have seen salt and grit but no sight of a snow plough as it was still on the road, deeply compacted. Not even going to try to get into Holt from Melton today for work as getting out will be ghastly

This is what amazes me, they continue to drop salt on the roads but unless they clear away the existing snow you just end up with a  mountain of slush which is much more lethal especially when it freezes!
