Call for Entries - Streetlife Design Competition 26/27
Ready to share your ideas on the future of public space? Early Bird registration for the Streetlife Design Competition 2027 is now open.
Organized by Streetlife in collaboration with Landezine, this third edition of the competition launches in April 2026 and will culminate in the announcement of winners in April 2027 in Leiden, the Netherlands.
The competition is open to students, universities, and young professionals from around the world. Participants are invited to identify a “lost” site—anywhere globally—and transform it through an original design proposal. The selected site must not exceed 1 hectare (approximately 2.47 acres).
Your chosen site can be public or private, but all proposals must ensure public accessibility. Existing studio or academic projects may also be submitted, provided they meet the competition criteria.
Universities that submit three or more projects developed as part of a studio course (under the guidance of professors or instructors) will also be eligible for the University Prize.
