In addition to Rough Benches, Streetlife also has an extensive collection of Fine Benches, all of which are constructed of FSC®-certified wood. The Fine Benches use smaller-sized beams in four different sizes.
The most extensive range in this collection is the Solid Series, constructed of FSC® hardwood Solid slats measuring 7cm x 7cm. The Series ranges from Benches to Bicycle Racks, from Sitting Platforms to Bridges, all of which feature a closed (solid) appearance.
As an alternative to wood, Solid Series products can also be produced in Cloudy Grey. Cloudy Grey is 50% recycled LDPE plastic combined with 50% recycled textile fibres and remnants. The beams are a maximum of 120cm in length and made of splinter-free material that does not require maintenance. Designed for today's awareness of the importance of re-use and sustainability, Cloudy Grey beams are colourfast with a rough surface texture and matte appearance.
Both Olympic Wave Benches and Cliffhanger Benches are made with a wood size of 4.7cm x 5cm. The narrowly spaced slats create an attractive, durable surface.
The third wood size, 3.5cm x 7cm, is used in the New Standard Benches, the Wood Tops and the Long&Lean Benches. These are no-nonsense designs that exude quality despite their somewhat understated appearance.
The updated Highlife III Series consists of three different slat widths – 4cm, 8cm and 16cm – which are all 4cm thick. The Highlife III benches have an elegant and sleek appearance.
