Streetlife's Benches Collection has a distinctive natural style. It is divided into two categories: Rough Benches and Fine Benches. The beams used to construct the Rough Benches are a more substantial size, giving the series its characteristic robust appearance. This category includes benches from the following product families: Rough & Ready, Heavy-Heavy, Drifter and Stone.
The Rough&Ready Range is characterised by its FSC® hardwood beams, which measure 7cm x 15cm. In addition to benches the range includes Green Benches, Tree Planters, Bicycle Racks & Bollards, Shades and Bridges, which makes for a consistent appearance across the product range. All items in this range have a minimal character.
As an alternative to wood, the R&R Range is also available in All Black. These are black beams that have the same dimensions but are made from 100% recycled plastic. This maintenance-free material is black throughout and splinter-free. Designed for today's awareness of the importance of re-use and sustainability, All Black beams are colourfast with a rough surface texture and matte appearance.
The Heavy-Heavy Bench is constructed from beams measuring 15cm x 21cm. Heavy-Heavy beams are made from two different sustainable materials: FSC Hardwood and Lava Grey. Lava Grey consists entirely of recycled household plastic waste.
The Drifter Benches are made of reclaimed mooring posts measuring approximately 30cm x 30cm, recovered from local water infrastructure. The 30-to-40-year-old tropical hardwood is certified FSC® recycled wood. The rustic look of these benches appeals to the imagination.
